Beginners

Beginners 1

In Beginners 1, you will learn to understand and use everyday expressions and basic phrases. You will learn to introduce yourself and others, talk at a basic level about your family, your work and your hobbies. You will learn how to order food and get by at the shops. You will learn numbers and the days of the week.

Beginners 2

In Beginners 2, you will build on your knowledge from Beginners 1. You will learn to talk about the past, giving and understanding directions, sightseeing, catching up with friends, health, your home, holidays and festivities. You will be able to interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.

Intermediate

Intermediate 1

In Intermediate 1, you will learn to have conversations related to personal and family information, shopping, your surroundings and your work. You will learn to communicate and write well in routine situations.

Intermediate 2

Intermediate 2 is a follow-up course to Intermediate 1, moving on to speaking independently.

Advanced 1

Students are working at B1 level. Grammar from previous courses will be revised and more complex grammatical topics will be covered.

Advanced 2

Students are working at B1+/B2 level. Grammar from previous courses will be revised and more complex grammatical topics will be covered.

Advanced 3

This is a conversation course for students who can communicate fluently in German at B2/C1 level. The learning outcome of this class is to maintain and improve proficiency in speaking, listening and reading skills in German. This is a very interactive class taught by several teachers, who cover a variety of topics. Materials are supplied.
